Indiana Lambda Elects New President, Other Officers
It was an important night for the Brothers of Indiana Lambda. Many executive offices would be coming vacant, due to the graduating Borthers this semester. Several Brothers were prepared to address the chapter with their speeches, hoping to become the next president or vice president of the chapter.
Spring Formal Held at Opryland
A good time was had by all at the annual spring formal held at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Nearly ten alumni came down to share a great night with the active brothers. The evening started out in awe of the hotel’s beautiful gardens. It proved to be a popular area for pictures for the Brothers and their dates.
Another First for Indiana Lambda
The Outstanding Student Organization Award goes to the University of Southern Indiana organization that best exemplifies membership and leadership development, campus life enhancement, service to the university and surrounding community, university involvement, and fulfillment of the organizations mission.
Brother Accepts Key to the University
Indiana Lambda has seen many great leaders in its short histroy. Brothers have held executive positions in many on campus organizations, but this past week our first Student Government Association (SGA) president was elected. Bob Wolfley #285 accepted the ‘Key to the University’ on April 15, 2009.
Phi Delts Sweep Greek Awards
After a week of competition, the Phi Delts were reminded of their high standard of excellence. The chapter received the Vice President’s Award for Chapter Excellence for the fourth consecutive year to cap off the night.
